Brazil: “Low Carbon Business Action” program to support EU companies investing in Brazil

European Union is sponsoring the program to support business development and create opportunities for EU companies in Brazil

‘Low-carbon Business Action’ is the 3-years program aiming to adapt low emissions technologies to Brazil and promote EU companies. Within the program, matchmaking delegations will be organised, for specific low carbon industry sectors. Three of matchmaking missions will be held this year in October and November: Solid Waste, Biogas and Renewable Energy (Solar/Biomass) and four more will follow in 2017.

The matchmaking missions will gather around 100 participants, including 50 companies and costs will be subsidized (around 80% of the cost) by European Union. All the participants will receive the market information, expert insights on how to approach Brazilian market as well as the access to the main annual event organised by the Brazilian Biogas Association.

The Biogas & Biomethane matchmaking mission will take place in São Paulo, form 17-21 October 2016, and it is organised together with Sebrae (Serviço Brasileiro de Apoio à Micro e Pequena Empresa), CNI (Confederação Nacional da Indústria) and ABIOGÁS (Associação Brasileira de Biogáse Biometano).
