EBA joins 10 other associations in a common statement on Energy Union

11 Brussels based associations covering a range of renewable energy industries have sent a joint letter to Mr. Jean-Claude Juncker.

On the 19th of February EBA sent a joint letter to President Juncker of the European Commission and his Commissioners encouraging them to create a resilient and sustainable Energy Union favourable for renewables. The letter was also signed by the European Renewable Energy Federation (EREF) and nine other associations representing most of the European renewable energy sector.

The letter points out several criteria for achieving a vibrant domestic market that gives investors the right signals and confidence to invest in large scale renewable deployment. The letter also highlight examples of good practices of switching from fossil fuels to renewables.

The letter was also signed by the European Renewable Energy Federation (EREF) and nine other associations representing most of the European renewable energy sector: AEBIOM, EGEC, EHPA, EPIA, ESTELA, ESTIF, EWEA, EUREC and Ocean Energy Europe.
