EBA has a new Secretary General
Changes in the EBA secretariat in Brussels were announced at the General Assembly of the European Biogas Association, held in Bremen last week.
As of February 2nd, the EBA board has appointed Mrs. Agata Prządka as the new Secretary General. “She has proved herself as a valuable contributor to EBA’s work since 2011 and she is ideally suited to carry out the responsibilities of Secretary General.” – Dr. Jan Štambaský, EBA’s President, said and at the same time expressed his gratitude to Mr. Sebastian Stolpp, who served at this position for the last 6 years, since the association was established in 2009.
Prządka holds a Bachelor degree in Engineering in Environmental Protection from Warsaw University of Life Sciences and a Master of Engineering in Regenerative Energies from Göttingen University of Applied Sciences. In her previous position as a Technical Advisor, she was working mainly on analysis of international biogas markets and on the technical aspects of EU biogas related policies.
At the same time, Erneszt Kovács has been promoted to the position of the Technical Advisor. Erneszt Kovács held an internship position of the Assistant to the Technical Advisor since September 2014. He is an Environmental Engineer, specialised in waste management, graduated from the University of Novi Sad, Serbia.
