EBA’s contribution to the Fertilisers regulation
Following a successful digestate workshop organised by EBA back in October, EBA has published a series of comments and contributions addressed to DG Enterprise and Industry highlighting the values of digestate as an organic fertiliser and putting forward scientific findings that are backing up our proposals.
After a very comprehensive presentation on Fertilisers directive’s drafting and current progress, given by Mr. Vincent Delvaux and Mr. Eric Liegois EBA has put together all the comments and arguments that would ensure the adequate implementation of the fertilisers regulation when it comes to digestate. Following these recommendations we believe we could make digestate a valuable contribution to European economy and environment.
