Industrial Measurement Methane Conference

This conference will bring together experts in the field of methane metrology from all over the world to discuss the latest field technologies for monitoring methane emissions. It will take place on 22 – 23 May 2019 at The Ahoy Exhibition Centre, Rotterdam, in The Netherlands.

Methane is a potent greenhouse gas and has a significant impact on global climate change. However, the persistence of methane in the atmosphere is much shorter than carbon dioxide, so initiatives to lower methane emissions are likely to be effective more quickly. It is therefore vital that methane emissions are reduced in the near-term, facilitated by accurate and reliable measurements.

IMMC provides a unique environment where academics, industrial stakeholders and regulators are brought together to discuss the increasing need and growing capabilities to measure and reduce industrial methane emissions.

This coming year’s two-day event will focus on the following key themes:

  • Scientific understanding, regulation and policy
  • Industrial case studies and application of current capabilities
  • Demonstration and validation of novel technologies and techniques
  • Sensors, instruments and emerging technology
  • Future capabilities and industrial needs

Last year’s multi-disciplinary approach resulted in a sold-out event, with positive feedback and we hope that you will join us in helping make IMMC 2019 an even more successful event.
