19th International Bioenergy Congress 2026 – Spain

The International Bioenergy Congress will celebrate its 19th edition in 2026, consolidating its position as a key forum for knowledge exchange and professional debate on biogas, biomethane and other renewable gases in Spain.

Organised by the Spanish Biomass Association (AVEBIOM), the Congress will take place on September 29 and 30, 2026, at Feria de Valladolid, Spain.

The 2026 programme will bring together experts, companies, project developers, public authorities and representatives from the agricultural, livestock and energy sectors. The sessions will address biomethane markets, guarantees of origin, regulation, plant design and upgrading, digestate management, biogenic CO₂ valorisation and relations with local communities.

A World Café session will also encourage direct dialogue between companies, municipalities, farmers, public authorities and local residents on the development of renewable gas projects.

Held in parallel with the 6th Renewable Gas Exhibition, the Congress will offer a unique opportunity to combine technical knowledge, sector analysis and professional networking across the entire renewable gas value chain.
