10.12.2025We are delighted to invite you to the launch of the 15th edition of the EBA Statistical Report, the most comprehensive analysis of Europe’s biogas and biomethane sector. As Europe races toward energy independence and climate neutrality, renewable gases are becoming one of the driving forces behind a stronger and more sustainable future.
The 2025 Statistical Report reveals how biogas and biomethane production and use are evolving to deliver on the EU’s climate ambitions, with projections showing the sector’s potential to supply over 100 bcm of biogases by 2040. The report will also analyse the growing rollout of biogas co-products (digestate and bio-CO₂), highlighting their increasing contribution to sustainable agriculture, carbon reuse, and the development of Europe’s circular bioeconomy.
