Grid Ready Forum 2027
01.04.2027 - 30.04.2027The Grid Ready Forum is a focused and expert-driven event taking place yearly in Brussels. It convenes selected experts, from grid operators, national regulators, and European policymakers to make progress in shaping national regulations for biomethane grid access.
By fostering the exchange of views and showcasing best practices, the Forum aims to provide conclusions and actionable insights for the implementation of national regulations, such as the transposition of the EU Gas Package.
The first edition – in April 2025 – gathered 40 participants including 10 regulators. Invitees for this year includes national regulators and grid operators from +12 different countries, ACER, CEER and the European Commission.
The second edition of the Grid Ready Forum underscored the urgent need for stronger coordination, greater harmonisation, and faster action across Europe. This time, EBA brought together 60 policymakers, regulators, and gas grid operators for a full day of discussion, the Forum revealed a strong and shared message: greater cooperation is critical to accelerate progress.
