Joint Letter to DG Energy for Copenhagen Forum 2026

As the European Union steps up its efforts to strengthen energy security and industrial competitiveness, the role of EU‑made biomethane is becoming increasingly strategic. In this context, we publish a joint letter about the Copenhagen Forum 2026, signed by six European organisations representing the biomethane value chain and gas infrastructure operators. We propose to include a dedicated biomethane infrastructure session at the Copenhagen Forum 2026, building on the Forum’s track record as a high-level platform for exchange between the European Commission, national regulatory authorities and grid operators.
