RePowerEU with biomethane: four dimensions of 35 bcm

The REPowerEU action plan is set to make Europe independent from Russian fossil fuels well before 2030 in light of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and rising energy prices in Europe.

The EU communication seeks to speed-up the rollout of renewable gases, including 35 bcm of biomethane by 2030. Is the sector ready to deliver the required sustainable biomethane production? What actions and synergies will be needed to take us there?

These and other questions will be answered in our dedicated webinar for EBA members which will take place on Monday 25 April from 15:00 to 16:30. Aleksandra Tomczak, from the Cabinet of the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, will present us the first outline of the plan and different representatives from the biomethane value chain will discuss the contribution of the sector to make it real.

Do not miss the discussions shaping the future of the biomethane sector in Europe!
