    Michael is Board Member of the EBA since 2019 and he chairs the Company Advisory Council of the association. Michael is founder and CEO of TerraX, where he works in the development of new technologies in the field of the anaerobic digestion to produce biogas/biomethane and gasification to produce hydrogen. As by-products of these processes, he is able to produce a green fertilizer as digestate and premium green biochar.

    Prior to this, he was CEO of BTS Biogas, an international leading company in biogas plant engineering and construction. As agriculturalist, graduated at the BOKU (University of Natural Resources and Life Science) in Vienna, he has devoted over 20 years of his life to the world of biogas. He was also cofounder of the Klimaenergy fiery in Bozen, the Consorzio Italiano Biogas (CIB) and finally the European Biogas Association (EBA).

    Michael studied agricultural economics in Vienna – BOKU. His proudest AD accomplishment is the development of an AD plant in his home village in 2000. His driving force: protecting our planet and preserve nature for our future generations.

    Annette is the Head of Regulation and Advocacy at ENGIE Renewable Gases Europe since 2023, coordinating biomethane regulatory affairs across six European countries. Annette aims to accelerate biomethane project development, address barriers, and ensure a positive business case. She has extensive experience in European and Public Affairs and is committed to collaborating with stakeholders to achieve common objectives.

    Joerg Fischer has been the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of EnviTec Biogas AG since June 2007, overseeing Financing, Accounting, IT, and Business Development. He is also the President of biogasrat, a National Biomethane Association, and Co-Chair of the BIP Task Force.

    Before joining EnviTec, Joerg worked at Bremer Landesbank, where he led the project financing team, focusing on renewable energies. He began his career at Landeszentralbank Bremen in 1991, later moving to Landeszentralbank Cuxhaven. Joerg holds degrees in business administration and economics from the Fachhochschule der Deutschen Bundesbank, University of Bremen, New School University, and Columbia University.

    Coen Meijers has worked for 22 years in the sustainability sector and is devoted to the mitigation of climate change. He has built his career in the water and gas sector, in different commercial positions for General Electric and DMT Environmental Technology. As Sales Manager for DMT, he worked on the first commercial scale membrane biogas upgrading plant in Europe, the operational lease of upgrading plants and the expansion of the biogas sector into new markets. In his current role as Manager Business Development, he focuses on the implementation of new technologies for biogas valorisation, such as liquefied biogas (LBG or bio-LNG), capture of CO2 and asset management services. In the last 2 years Coen has been serving as a member of the Company Advisory Board and the Executive Board for the EBA.

    Tatiana Demeusy is an engineer and business economist. Since 2008 she held various positions within EnBW AG. For several years she worked as a project manager for renewable energy at Erdgas Südwest GmbH, a subsidiary of EnBW and planed several biogas upgrading plants. From 2016 to 2019, she set up and managed the biogas expertise centre after Erdgas Südwest took over the biomethane trader bmp greengas. Since 2019 she is a Senior Manager for Renewable Gases at the gas value chain division of EnBW AG. She develops business models along the value chain of green gases, represents the company in technical committees and expert groups of various associations and develops positions relating to biogas/biomethane, Bio-LNG and hydrogen. Her current focus, in addition to supporting the Fit-for-55-packages, is on renewable gas verification, sustainability and GHG requirements, and taxonomy requirements.

    As Director of Asset Management at SWEN Capital Partners, Guillaume participates in the investment decisions and supervise the portfolio of biomethane developers, supporting them on strategic, operational or commercial topics.

    Guillaume has an engineering background, supplemented by an Executive MBA from ESCP. He joined SWEN Capital Partners in 2023 after working for some twenty years in the operation and development of gas infrastructures. In particular, as marketing manager within the French TSO, He defined, in collaboration with the regulator, a contractual and regulatory framework favorable to the development of biomethane in France. More recently, Guillaume contributed to the development of numerous projects across Europe based on biomethane purchase agreements and non-recourse financing.

    Stuart Gordon is an investment professional with over 20 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector, working as an engineering consultant, technical adviser, project developer and investment manager. He first worked in the biogas sector in 2003, starting out as a waste treatment technology adviser to various UK municipalities. Since 2014 he has worked for Iona Capital, delivering a portfolio of biogas and biomethane projects in the UK. He acts as a board director for several renewable energy project companies and is directly involved in the development of multiple biomethane deals across Europe and North America.

    Paolo is the Director of Renewable Solutions Strategic Business Unit (SBU) at Pietro Fiorentini and responsible for the development and deployment of the strategy, coordinating sales and operations at corporate level in renewable business. He provides solutions in the evolving and complex market of energy transition, including systems for biogas upgrading, biomethane and CO2 liquefaction, with a constant focus on technology innovation, including solutions for green hydrogen and biological methanation.
