Austria: Animal and agricultural waste as the raw materials for the production of biomethane
EBA Vice-President Franz Kirchmeyr talks to the Biogas Channel about the Austrian biomethane market.
In Austria, the will to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and to use more renewable resources is increasing. However, to achieve these goals further development is needed of the gas network in order to be able to use biogas plants for producing biomethane. The raw materials also have an important role and the correct formula of their mix is to be determined.
