Bioenergy Innovation Centre opens its doors

On September 16, the Deutsches Biomasseforschungszentrum (DBFZ) celebrated the opening of the Bioenergy Innovation Center.

Located in Leipzig, it will support applied research and collaboration between Small and Medium Enterprises of the Sector. “The Bioenergy Innovation Center provides an optimal environment for spin-offs and start-ups, particularly through the acceleration of innovation processes. Support on patents and intellectual property rights, financing, market penetration and internationalization will also be offered” said Prof. Dr. Michael Nelles, Scientific Managing Director at DBFZ.
