Common statement of FEAD, ECN and EBA addressed to EU Fertilisers regulation
The three Brussels based representatives of European producers of organic fertilisers, soil improvers and growing media (e.g. compost, digestate, manure) derived from animal and vegetable matter have issued a common statement on specific requirements for the inclusion of organic fertilisers and soil improvers in the EU Fertilisers Regulation.
In the light of upcoming revision of the Fertilisers regulation we are looking forward to the new revision and the willingness to include organic fertilisers, soil improvers and growing media in the scope of this regulation.
In addition to the comments submitted by each of our associations on the proposal presented at the Fertilisers Working Group meeting on 2 June 2014, the position paper contains a number of concerns shared by the tree organisation.
