DBFZ: Interim Report May 2015 now available

The document elaborated by the Deutsches BiomasseForschungsZentrum summarises the monitoring of electricity from biomass in Germany.  This report is the result of a continuous monitoring process that is part of the recent monitoring project “Scientific preparation and monitoring of EEG monitoring reports and the EEG Progress Report for electricity generation from biomass”.

Among other matters of interest, it tackles the increased complexity of the issues related to bioenergy in different areas. For example, the growing direct marketing, the legal efficiency and conservation requirements as well as the extended information requirements from biogas plants.

The project supports the fulfillment of the reporting obligations established by the BMWi (the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy) for power generation from biomass and develops scientific proposals for the further development of this framework.
