EBA to speak at the Gasification Summit in March 2016

Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, is the location chosen to host the 5th edition of this annual event organised by Active Communications International (ACI).

The summit will comprise two days of formal presentations, interactive roundtable discussions and excellent networking opportunities, providing an ideal setting to convene peer-discussion on both current operational and future planned gasification plants, end product markets, potential barriers and support policies, as well as project economics and finance.

The key topics of the event will include an introductive market overview, drivers and regulatory update, an outlook on waste gasification, recent developments in the area of gas clean-up and case studies showing biomass gasification challenges and success stories.

During the afternoon of the 22nd, attendees will receive a unique opportunity to visit RWE/Essent Amer Power Plant. It is one of RWE’s larger production sites, with a combined capacity of 1245 MW enough to supply around 3 million households with electricity each year. The Amer Power Plant can also produce 600 MW of heat which is used for district heating as far as Tilburg and Breda as well as heating greenhouses.

There is no extra charge to attend the site visit, but the visit is limited to 40 places, which are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Participants are encouraged to register their attendance for the site visit when booking for the conference.

The conference fee is set at £1,495 (plus VAT), but participants can benefit of a 15% discount with the following code: ECG5MA15.
