EBA welcomes its latest staff members!

These past weeks, EBA has welcomed a new Technical and Projects Officer and a Communications Assistant.


EBA keeps expanding in size, with the addition of Stefanie Scheidl, who will be replacing Erneszt Kovacs as the new Technical and Projects Officer. Stefanie worked in research and project management in anaerobic digestion at BOKU University for Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, where she monitored anaerobic fermentations and focused on process control and analytics. She holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnical Processes focusing on Environmental Biotechnology and the qualification Junior Project Manager. Stefanie’s mother tongue is German and she is fluent in English and has basic knowledge of French.

Our new Communications Assistant, Lea Sorak, holds a degree in Philology and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Communication and Media, University of Turin, Italy. Previously, she worked as a Communication Assistant intern in QED in Brussels. Lea is bilingual in Serbian and Hungarian and fluent in English and Italian.
