Finland: Biogas upgrading capacity status
In 2015 one new biogas upgrading plant started production in Finland, bringing the total to ten plants.
CBG100 Suomi, the Finnish information server of RES-T-methane, (Renewable Methane Use in Transport), announced that the national upgrading capacity increased 18 % compared to 2014 and was placed 3,230 Nm3/h at the end of 2015. Annual upgraded biogas production capacity is about 150 GWh.
The information server has published as well a list of the commercial upgrading plants in Finland at the end of 2015, which locations are shown on their map of biogas filling stations and upgrading plants.
