German Biogas Association presents new brochure
The brochure “Digestate as Fertilizer ” published in the Biogas Knowledge series is now available online and in print also in English.
The 66-page brochure, produced by the German Biogas Association (Fachverband Biogas e.V.) together with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, the Indian Biogas Association and the European Compost Network (ECN) e.V., provides a comprehensive overview of the production of digestate in biogas plants and its possible application, legal requirements and the various upgrading technologies. There are also tips on marketing strategies, quality assurance and safety aspects. Additionally the significance in developing countries is highlighted with case studies from Uganda, India and Costa Rica. The second section contains exemplary reference plants and a company directory of renowned companies in the field of digestate upgrading.
