Mr. Giovanni La Via is the latest confirmed speaker at the Conference of the European Biogas Association!
New keynote speaker for the upcoming Conference of the European Biogas Associations has been announced as Mr Giovanni La Via confirms his participation.
The chair of the European Parliament Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, Mr. Giovanni La Via will deliver a contribution on decarbonisation of transport and role of biomethane in Europe on the first day of the conference, 27 September.
Mr. La Via is a doctorate (PhD) in economics and agricultural policy with a rich career in this field as a researcher, professor and later head of the Department of Agricultural Economics at the University of Catania. He was a member of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development at the European Parliament from 2009 – 2010 before he took over chairing the Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety in 2014.
