Open Public Consultation on the functioning of Waste Markets in the EU
The Commission has opened a consultation on waste markets within the framework of the Circular Economy
This Waste Markets consultation relates directly to the Circular Economy proposals that will be published by the end of 2015, particularly to the revision of the Waste Framework Directive, but also to elements of the future Circular Economy Communication. Its main objective is to provide the opportunity to relevant actors of the waste sector to give their views on possible regulatory obstacles which may be in the way of reusing or recycling waste.
This is a good opportunity to provide your views on regulatory obstacles that may occur in some or all administrative levels (be it local, regional, national or European) that may impede the digestion of organic waste. The deadline for submissions is: 04/09/2015.
