Save the date: EBA Biogas Workshop on 8 February

The event will highlight the contribution of biogas towards European renewable energy policy beyond 2020.

Taking place in Brussels on 8 February, right after the EBA General Assembly, the one-day programme will feature sessions focused on European policies, feedstock and infrastructure and gasification. The event will also include the presentation of the ERGaR association and its role enabling an internal European market for biomethane.

Confirmed high-level speakers include Ms Ruta Baltause, DG ENERGY, European Commission; Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Mr Claude Turmes, Mr Patrick Dorvil from the European Investment Bank; along with representatives from key-stakeholders in the sector such as ENGIE, CEDEC and ECOFYS.

The Workshop will be held in the historical Palace of the Academies, in Brussels, from 9h until 16h.
More than 50 participants from 15 European countries have already registered for the event, setting it forward to continue on the tradition of successful events hosted by EBA.
