Spain: Focus on cogeneration and distributed generation

Cogeneration technology does not require transport or distribution systems since it has the advantage of being able to produce energy where it is required, comments Mr Roqueta.
Even though the cogeneration market at this time is saturated in Spain, this type of technology proves to be useful and thus a renewal is essential. Biogas is instead exploited mainly in wastewater treatment plants and in landfills.
