UK: ADBA unveils international biogas trade show

The Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association (ADBA), the trade association for the UK’s AD industry, has unveiled its global trade show – UK AD & Biogas 2016.

Building on the success of the UK event and taking place at the NEC Birmingham, UK, on 6-7 July 2016, UK AD & Biogas 2016 (adbioresources.org) is now taking on an international focus. As the only global trade show dedicated to anaerobic digestion (AD), biogas and related bioresources, it promises to be the definitive industry event of the year.

Reflecting the phenomenal growth and success of the UK AD industry, this free to attend, two-day event has grown by 560 per cent over the past six years. This year it takes a significant step forward, having been rebranded to emerge as the world’s first and only truly international biogas trade show. For the first time in its history, UK AD & Biogas 2016 will showcase not just the best of the UK’s AD sector – which is still growing at a pace – but also the largest and fastest growing AD markets around the world.

Other key themes of the show include: different AD technologies and process efficiencies in use worldwide; the market drivers for AD growth in different regions; differences in international incentives and regulations; and the varieties of feedstocks being treated around the globe. Featuring a range of success stories and case studies from all corners of the world – as well as a greater focus on R&D, innovation and the extraction of higher value products from the AD process – UK AD & Biogas 2016 is gearing up to be the highlight of the international AD calendar.
