Among the many obstacles that prevent the creation of a European biomethane market are the policies of the various Member States on their national biomethane production, related incentive systems and the design of the natural gas network that should connect all countries. The BIOSURF Project is trying to overcome these obstacles and to promote the use of biomethane within the transport sector.
