New deputy chairman of the Company Advisory Council elected

During the last meeting of the Company Advisory Council (CAC) on 15 January in Nuremberg the vacant deputy chair position went to Leon Stille from TNO (The Netherlands), who volunteered to support CAC in its activities. TNO is an independent research organisation focusing on innovations that boost the sustainable competitive strength of industry and well-being of society.

The first and one of the key activities for Leon will be the structuring and set-up of the working groups. In the CAC meeting it was proposed and accepted that the CAC members will be invited to participate in the working groups addressing technical as well as commercial or marketing issues. The CAC Steering Committee will do its utmost to launch the first initiatives of the working groups during spring meeting.

At this point we also would like to thank Emanuel Bregulla from MT-Energie – former CAC deputy – for his true commitment to the CAC.

What is CAC?

The Company Advisory Council (CAC) is an industry platform dedicated to the European biogas industry, which provides an opportunity to companies to reflect their own views to European policy makers and to strengthen EBA’s voice in a concerted way. The meetings are held on average twice a year in a different European location and provide the opportunity to exchange on topics.
